What's on the menu?
There are a lot of restaurants in the south of Catalonia and we would like to share our experiences. Almost all have an affordable daily menu on weekdays and, for special occasions, other restaurants, usually more expensive and luxurious, offer haute cuisine tasting menus.
All offer fresh local produce and excellent wines from Terra Alta. Regional specialities such as paella, fideuá, black rice and calçots (when in season) are almost obligatory. We recommend you always book and make sure you indicate whether it is indoors or on the terrace. All of them offer a take-away service. And for vegetarians like us (although we eat fish) just ask the waiters, who will offer you alternatives.
