Things To Do
As well as observing from the farm and surrounding areas the Delta del Ebro is made up of 32,000 hectares, the second largest marshland in Europe after the Carmargue in France. Most of the area is devoted to rice cultivation which is of huge importance for resting and feeding waders and herons. There are conservation areas with lagoons & reedbeds occupying a major part of the delta. Interesting sightings are Eiders, Scoters, Marganser, Marsh Harrier, Oystercatcher, colonies of Tern and Gull and big gatherings of Flamingo. We have binoculars and telescopes for hire.
